I am waiting for Bassanio ):

A servant enters looking for Portia. He announces the arrival of a messenger for another suitor. Nerissa is hopeful that the Venetian suitor is Bassanio. I hope that is Bassanio! I have tried to chase off all the suitors and wanted to see Bassanio!
I am waiting for you ! (:

Prince of Arragon. AGAIN?! :(

The prince came in bow gracefully.

I explains the choice of the caskets to the Prince. He readily accepts the terms and chooses the silver because he feels that he deserves me. Inside the silver box is a picture of a fool's head and a note calling him a fool.

And the prince leave.

Prince of Morocco. NOOOOO... ):

Morocco shows pride in his complexion, and requests that I approve of his offer of marriage.

I replies that the choice is not me but the man must choose the correct box. The Prince is happy to take that chance, even after I warns him that if he chooses incorrectly he must never ask for another women's hand in marriage again.

I lets him know that my picture will be in one of the caskets. The three inscriptions are: gold-"Who chooseth me shall gain what many men desire;" silver "Who chooseth me shall get as much as he deserves;" and lead "Who chooseth me must give and hazard all he hath." The Prince decides to open the gold because all desire Portia and she is worth the gold.He finds a scroll in the golden casket that reminds him that "all that glitters is not gold." He leaves and I am happy to see him go.

MEEEEE!

Even though, I told my maid I am tired of all the suitors and I wishes to be free of the obligation of my father's will. But I will still follow his will. THis shows that I am a dutiful daugther as I could have easily forsook my father decision and will and marry the guy that I truly have feelings for however I did not forsook my father will instead I decided to follow and respect my father decision no matter how angry sad and unjustified I found the situation to be . This also shows that I am mentally strong as I has her own ideals and that I will obey it no matter what happens.

FATHER'S WILL ):

I am tired of the constant stream of suitors and i wishes to be free of the obligation of my father's will. And I cannot choose my own husband I cannot choose the one I truly love! Father's will wrote that I can only marry the man who choose the correct one of the three caskets. And also, there only consisted of three caskets, the chance of the three man that are able to get the right casket is high! Even though, I may dislike the will that father had stated, but I still obey.

OMG! The chances are high! ):

Portia is an example of nobility. She is a fair-haired beauty with an immense power to attract. Her goodness and virtue enhance her beauty. Unlike Antonio, she is not passive, but displays energy and determination. In many ways, hers is the more forceful figure in the play. Her authority and control with which she deals and manipulates the circumstances of the play are exemplary. In Belmont, the terms of her father's will leave her without any choice in her future husband, and she is saddened that she does not have an appropriate mate. As a dutiful daughter, however, she is compelled to accept her father's wishes. Despite her dissatisfaction with her circumstances, she has a cheerful and optimistic nature. She is clever with words and wit and enjoys the opportunity of performing,
She uses her wonderful ability with words and her keen sense of humor to enliven the scenes in which she appears.
